WITD 101.32 Out of the Toy Bag50 viewsOut of the Toy Bag examines techniques with a whip that can be used in dungeon play the very first day someone gets their singletail. Spending time with your whip will decrease the amount of time it takes for the whip to feel like an extension of your arm. Play safe, have fun with confidence in your whip with these techniques.

WITD 101.34 Reverse Your Brain50 viewsReverse Your Brain focuses on the concept of brain elasticity, or using the opposite hemisphere of your brain. Rather than dig into the research, it puts forth the principle that every moment you spend practicing the 4 WITD techniques with your "opposite" hand will make your "dominant" hand smarter. The result is proficiency faster in dungeon play with your dominant hand than would have occurred without the opposite hand practice. Ambidextrous throwers should practice both sides as well, lol.

WITD 101.38 Sport Cracking50 viewsSport Cracking takes a brief look at the skill sets of two whip combination cracking in the air and target cutting. Brief discussion of the Sacred Space concept and why sport cracking in most instances is not appropriate in dungeon spaces. The skill sets and goals for sport cracking are different than play with whips in the dungeon. While some of the skills can be transferred to dungeon play, WITD contends that the 4 techniques taught will move the whip thrower quicker to live contact dungeon play than a sport cracking approach.

WITD 301.05 Long Whip Style49 viewsLong Whip Style Long whips are any whip with a thong or plaited length 6' or longer. A 6' bullwhip or snake whip will have a total length of 8+ feet with fall and cracker included. Long whips take a lot of dungeon space, most dungeons can't accommodate them. The cattleman's crack and overhand crack are shown. The U-shaped overhand crack is recommended for beginning dungeon play using a long whip as the rollout, and control of targeting controlled puffs is easier with this crack. A tip on grounding the whip is illustrated.

Book Reviews 101.01 Giveaways Introduction to Book Reviews49 viewsWhat does one do with a leather library when one is moving toward the end of a leather journey? I have decided to pull a book off of the shelf and re-read it, or sometimes even read it for the first time. Then do a short video book review giving my honest opinion of the book, pluses and minuses. Then offer it as a give-away to the first Patreon that asks for it. If no Patreons ask for the book, then I will offer it up for free to my U.S. subscribers on the YouTube The Leather Journey channel.

WITD 401.03 The Sound of Silence (Disturbed)48 views@MarchBaby here is your song request of The Sound of Silence by Disturbed. Whips used were a tomcat and a 3' snake whip by Peter Jack (3' thong, 3' fall, total length 6'). This whip because it is build on a 50/50 ratio throws much like a fly fishing rod. An unusual snake because is hisses as it moves through the air before it bites.
