WITD 401.60 Could Have Been Me (The Struts)42 viewsCould Have Been Me for @CittyCaterina because I seem to remember she likes this group or maybe it is this song! Could Have Been Me by The Struts. @Moodstone for absolutely rocking this dress. I think Moodstone's hotter than the girl in the video, but I'll let followers decide that one as I'm very biased.

WITD 401.61 A Chi Mi Dice (Il Volo)52 viewsA Chi Mi Dice by my favorite Italian group, Il Volo, sent out to all of my Italian friends. I'd never thrown to this song, but surprise it turned out to be an excellent bullwhip song. I haven't seen the music score, but it would be danced as a Viennese Waltz so must be either 3/4 timing or 6/8 timing. So the whip is thrown on the 1 of each measure. In dancing VW we would call this catching the 1. An added plus in the video is that I'm successful at untying Moodstone's corset tie. So rhythmically for advanced whip throwing the crack alternates between forehand and backhand as the measures each have 3 beats. Maybe way too technical, so please just watch and enjoy.

WITD 401.62 Despacito (Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee)47 viewsA Latin musical number, Despacito by Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee. Challenging to throw to because of the pace of the song and syncopation. I was trying to tease Moodstone into dancing a bachata, but she ended up in merengue. She as usual is rocking her dress.

WITD 401.63 Inside Out (Radio Edit) (Five Finger Death Punch)43 viewsPandemic inspired Inside Out (Radio Edit) by Five Finger Death Punch. Changing rhythms in the verse and difficult pace in the chorus. At one point I do a modified Arrowhead to try and keep up. Thanks to Moodstone for dressing up and standing.

To friends around the world hoping everyone's well as we don't know where we will be this time next year. Special thanks to Alexa for handling lighting, Moodstone for rocking a strange dress and heels. 5' Hybrid parachord bullwhip by Bobbi HolyOak, 3' parachord snake whip by Coyote Whips.

WITD 401.65 Stars and Stripes Forever (Sounds Kinky)33 viewsJohn Philip Souza's classic marches in the late 1800s and early 1900s were, I contend, the heavy metal, industrial music of the day. Instruments weren't amplified, but marches had a heavy rhythmic beat. Industrial, metal and rock music has a heavy driving beat. Thanks to the US Marine Corp Band for playing this rousing rendition and enjoy seeing how a rhythm whip can actually accompany a heavy marching classic from a century ago.
