Leather Houses 101.18 Ds Relationships. Behavior Modification53 viewsBehavior Modification
Often leading a leather house involves behavior modification. Sometimes not so subtle and sometimes subtle. Often leading by example is a cornerstone of leadership of any type. Just as water flows from a pitcher.May 22, 2023

Leather Houses 101.17 Magical Measurement 29 viewsMagical Measurement What the Heck is it REALLY For?
The previous video 101.12 on this topic talked in code, for those who need it in plain English here it is. For male/female play it is all about leveraging the appendage against the G-Spot. For female/female play using a strap-on same purpose. There are advantages for male/male and female/male play but they aren't quite as magical.Jan 12, 2023

Leather Houses 101.16 A Frame FtBd HdBd8 viewsFor those who want a lifestyle bed, love impact play but because of children or vanilla relatives want to be a little bit more discrete than the St. Andrews cross design, consider building an A Frame footboard. The A frame is formed by two 2x6" boards with the 2x8" mattress rail forming the cross member of the letter A shape. A triangle is one of the strongest geometric shapes so for suspension off of this style of footboard it certainly will support most rigging.Jan 09, 2023

Leather Houses 101.15 StAndrews Cross FtBd HdBd7 viewsThe most iconic piece of dungeon equipment that symbolizes leather is possibly the St. Andrew's Cross. Why not incorporate a St. Andrew's Cross into the footboard of the lifestyle bed as you build it? The headboard, while not a functioning piece of dungeon equipment would mirror the footboard design having a small St. Andrew's cross made out of 2"x4", while the footboard cross is made with a 2"x6" or even a 2"x8".Jan 09, 2023

Leather Houses 101.14 Ladderback HdBd FtBd4 viewsLet your play emphasis influence your footboard design. In vanilla bed design the headboard is to focal point. In designing a lifestyle bed, the footboard is the focal point and a favorite style of play should influence it. If you like rope and bondage a design that will compliment that style of play is preferred over a style that would compliment impact play. A simple ladderback provides multiple attachment points and opportunities for single post ties. The footboard is heavy enough to support most suspensions.Jan 09, 2023

Leather Houses 101.11 Psychology Behind Building a Lifestyle Bed5 viewsDeciding what size bed to build involves many factors. What size bed are you used to sleeping in, what size sheets and blankets do you currently own, and sometimes how tall or husky you are. But the psychology behind the closeness and safety we felt as an infant in a crib, can be transferred into our sleep experiences as an adult. What is this additional factor to consider as you decide what size bed to build?Jan 08, 2023

Leather Houses 101.10 Building a Lifestyle Bed3 viewsIn 24 years in the lifestyle I've had the opportunity to build 4 lifestyle beds and also to own a house that had 2500 sq. ft. of dungeon space. The dungeons were used once or twice a month, the lifestyle bed was used every night. In prioritizing got to haves, move building a lifestyle bed to the top of your to-do list.Jan 07, 2023

Visualize the bottom bent over face down on the mattress. Top entry is from behind. Or visualize the bottom laying on the bed with legs off the side spread eagle and feet resting on the bedrail. Top is standing erect and tall as the magical measurement of boot to root subtracted from floor to sweet spot was where the iron bedrails holding the mattress are mounted. This brings up your mattress and foundation when the submissive is laying or bent across the bed to the root of either cock or strapon. It ensures leverage against the G-spot when playing with a female that's laying on the bed. Read my two writings regarding Building a Lifestyle Bed and the Magical MeasurementDec 25, 2022

Footboard: 4x4 corner posts, 2x8 box spring and mattress rails, 2x6 top rail that originally formed a canopy rail when the bed originally had 8' corner posts. Hardware represented are 1/2" lag screws counter sunk. Notice I didn't take the time to stain the counter sunk holes. That would give it a more finished look, but one could argue that leaving the counter sunk holes unstained gives it some character. Notice the blacklight mounted on the top rail of the headboard.Dec 25, 2022
