WITD 201.11 Buildup56 viewsBuildup "builds" on the Warmup to bring play into the 3, 4, 5, 6 pain scale. Cat o' nine tails are great whips for build up. Compare response between the root and heart chakras. Read body language to determine which chakra a whip catcher is preferring. Use this to guide singletail play. Climb the ladder with the singletail to play 6, 7, 8 by ramping up.Jul 21, 2020

WITD 201.10 Warmup62 viewsA warmup is essential for a good whip scene. It establishes a base line of energy exchange to build upon. If the whip catcher does not want marks, then it prepares the skin for the singletail and minimizes the chances of marks. Of course cracker material and composition also affects marks, and the skill level of the whip top. A warmup also puts the thrower in touch with the relative 1-10 pain scale of the whip catcher setting the stage for the next level of play in a mixed whip scene.Jul 21, 2020

WITD 301.06 The Arrowhead53 viewsThe Arrowhead is a sport cracking throw that when modified has application in advanced dungeon throwing. See how I modify it for use in dungeon scenes. Multiple cracks is a visualization process, some might watch the video and interpret this crack sequence as a single point volley alternating sides. I visualize it as an Arrowhead without the reverse cracks (which are useless in the dungeon), or a modified arrowhead. However, someone visualizes it with good results is the only thing that is important.Jul 17, 2020

WITD 301.05 Long Whip Style55 viewsLong Whip Style Long whips are any whip with a thong or plaited length 6' or longer. A 6' bullwhip or snake whip will have a total length of 8+ feet with fall and cracker included. Long whips take a lot of dungeon space, most dungeons can't accommodate them. The cattleman's crack and overhand crack are shown. The U-shaped overhand crack is recommended for beginning dungeon play using a long whip as the rollout, and control of targeting controlled puffs is easier with this crack. A tip on grounding the whip is illustrated.Jul 16, 2020

WITD 301.04 The Song48 viewsThe Song Each dungeon song creates an opportunity for a mini-vignette. Songs are musically structured with a beginning, middle and ending. Play with a song using a single toy. Think of the first verse as the warmup with that particular dungeon whip, chorus build slightly. Second verse begin to ramp up, chorus build more. Final verse build to final chorus crescendo. Tailor the 1-10 scale for that particular whip and song for where you are in Sequencing Play (WITD 101.41). For example with a flogger, play might be in sequence for warmup pain scale 1-4. Next song cat o' nine pain scale 3-6. etc. Each song is a mini-scene within the larger sequence of the entire play scene of say 45 min- 1 hr.Jul 15, 2020
