WITD 501.09 Reflective Whip Throwing20 viewsMost of us are visual learners. Discover how quickly you can improve both single handed and two handed technique by throwing in front of a full length mirror. This allows you to see the entire path of the whip through recovery and rollout. Self-reflective thought allows you to make adjustments and see the result instantly. Then repeat it to anchor it in muscle memory. After 23 years of throwing, my new discovery has implications for everyone wanting to improve their dungeon technique with whips.

WITD 501.14 Two Handed Forehand Focus20 viewsBreaking down two handed technique further leads to recognizing that each hand has a forehand and a backhand. In this segment, focus only on both forehands, keeping them tight with smooth rollout. On the backhand simply recover the whip and focus on setting up the next forehand. Future segments will focus on the backhand.

WITD 101.56 Singletail Grip with a Flogger20 viewsTraditionally a singletail is gripped by placing the heel knot in the palm of the hand forming a sort of ball and socket. What if you place the heel knot of a flogger in the palm of your hand? What advantages and disadvantages are there in throwing a flogger with this grip?

Sensation Play 101.07 Fixed Blades20 viewsSafety in knife play is paramount. Always negotiate carefully, and be aware of any use of blood thinners by your play partner. Aspirin, Pradaxa, Eloquis, warfarin all thin the blood. Even though there has been no intention of blood play or cutting, accidents can happen when using a sharp edge in a dimly lit dungeon. Consider not doing knife play with someone who is on a blood thinner. Fixed blade knives are wonderful for moving energy between the chakras. Especially when combined with impact play. Impact play with floggers and cats transfer energy into the chakras and knife play can move that energy around and get it flowing between the chakras.
