WITD 101.62 Whip Repair Kit30 viewsEvery whip thrower should carry a small case in their toybag with some whip essentials. A small mini fid, or dental pick for untying really tight knots in falls and crackers. Several sizes of small bandaids, small tube of triple antibiotic ointment, spare new crackers, a small knife or scissors. I carry snack sized zip lock bags and a sharpie to label each whip bottom's crackers. I never use the same cracker on two different whip bottoms. (1 votes)

WITD 201.39 Long Quirt Construction49 viewsA long quirt sometimes called a dog quirt will be 3' to 4' long. It is build very much like a signal whip or pocket snake whip but ends with a viper tongue or quirt tail. This is often nothing more than a wide fall split down the middle to form a quirt tail. A quirt has 2 tails, held on usually by simply a fall hitch, then thong to heel knot or Turk's head. A light shot bag, single belly and bolster are really all that's needed inside the overlay. I recommend only a 8 or 12 plait overlay as the quirt is intended for more intense play and the finesse and articulation that a higher plait count gives really isn't needed and is a waste of money. They would include a freebie with every order. Today they are still around but online and they have a few brick and mortar stores in the Carolinas. They invited customers to submit erotic short stories and erotic fantasy episodes in a customer contest. The editor selected the best stories and published them anonymously and the resulting book was included as one of their freebies for ordering customers. Today this represents vintage erotic stories, some of them are quite hot depending upon what your fantasy and kink is. Some are snoozers. (1 votes)

WITD 201.38 Details on Cat Construction14 viewsCat construction and components are compared. Shot load, stranding, finishing knot used. In the weeds on construction compares a Matt Welsby Whiskers cat, with a cat made by Abraided Leather and a Happy Tails Tomcat made by John. 3 mm stranding vs 4 mm vs 5 mm is only one variable in what makes a cat have a heavier punch, or wears the arm of the thrower out. In summary, if you run across a quality cat made with 3 mm stranding and you can afford to buy it. . . a valuable addition to any toybag. (1 votes)
